Grants has been developed with a view to providing the finest quality food with some excellent wines in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for both our guests and non-residents. We also host gourmet weekends.

All our food is sourced from local suppliers and we take great pride in producing delicious homemade food at reasonable prices. Our meat is supplied by Kenneth Morrison Butchers who source from prime cuts from the local Ross-shire area. Shellfish are caught locally from the clear waters of the west coast. Our emphasis is on simplicity and flavour, using high quality local produce, cooked just for you.

With the best of the Highland larder on our doorstep, the quality of produce used by the chefs at the Torridon is second to none. Fresh fish and shellfish, beef, lamb, wild boar, and succulent fruit and vegetables all sourced as locally as possible; from the langoustine landed from the loch to freshly picked strawberries from our newly planted kitchen garden; the emphasis at the Torridon is always on fresh and local for we believe that is best and that is our guarantee for all our guests.

We welcome you to the Waverley Restaurant where the emphasis is placed on using locally sourced sustainable produce including hand-died scallops, rope cultivated mussels and organic salads and herbs. Ank, the chef/proprietor, does not advertise in any of the all too numerous travel guides relying instead on the recommendations of our many satisfied diners.
